T. subruficollis 6 July dispersed. Went back for slauger - returner - flock still dispersed. Found concentration ca. 100 ft. W of 320 ditch - 4 birds in loose aggregation. Again observes ground phase - both birds collected. Aggressor - Maclean- 262; chased bird Maclean 263. Both not. Aggressor two larger birds. No other activity of birds. 9 July Gasoline Ridge & still sitting patiently. Will develops distraction display. No other bird seen on ridge. 10 July Low birds on picket at 1 dot, near stake 16. No others. 16 July Nest on gasoline ridge hatching at 3:00 P.M. Took 1 of 3 chicks out of egg (#282). Other egg cracked. 3 remaining chicks out of nest (10:00 A.M.) - about 30 yds. E.. & gave good distraction display. & with young along road to fertilizer plot, just beyond ridge & road. Could not count chicks. 1 collected - #252. Ridge is ca. 100 yds. away - vegetation and topography similar to beach ridge, on smaller scale. 19 July c.a. 4:00 P.M. - 1 adult w/ 3 chicks
