Macfar 1964 Taggarts subfasciollis I flew across Pitelka Plot 2/3 of way over (i.e. close to 80 end) from ridge top to Central Marsh. I just E. of 2nd row of stakes crossing plot. 1 PS yas N. of 3rd ditch, near center. 3 PTO chasing ca. 100 yas N. of CRREL bus. I dropped our landed 10 sec later, other 2 landed, each 40-50 yas apart in row → → all displaying. 2 along creek draining SW slope of Beach Ridge into Wholsley Slough. 1 in weasel track near slough SW S. of CRREL 22 June 2 PTO, 4 on gasoline mesa, facing SOT occasionally displaying. 25 June 3 July 1 bird on gasoline ridge in flock of 7 O' pelebals. 3 times flock flew. Buff Breast flew and landed with flock. Gasoline ♀ on nest. 6 July Pitelka's Plot: 5 birds within ca. 50 yas. ca. 3 acres SLY of 3rd ditch. Standing quietly. I gave wing flick, no response from others. 2 birds? Leasing. 1 of birds began chasing & lessing bird chased on ground ca. 2 mins. Following through ca. 50 yas, then air chase. [illegible]
