Flock between dacs and Beach
Ridge crossing seems to be picking up alpina-
now ca. 30 w/ Pd, m, & i. Couldn't
get close enough to collect any.
18 July
A flock of ca. 40 birds was
feeding in the Micro-Mer area. Tom
collected 6:
FAP C.a. 67-4 : 34.4/5.0/4.3
5 : 32.0/5.6/3.9

and 3M#
In the morning, Tom collected one bird
feeding in Central Marsh:
FAP C.a. 67-1 : 30.9/5.8/4.8.
and one bird near Beach Ridge Crossing:
FAP C.a. 67-3 : 35.0/5.8/--.
21 July
Several Small flocks - from pairs to
16 birds - as we did transects around
family creek.
22 July
2 birds have been captured in
snap traps. Send these off to Fairbanks.
Again - several flocks of 6 to 16 birds
feeding on surface insects and jabbing at
pond edges in Holmes' Morass.
23 July
A pair with young in wet, ponded
marsh No. 1 of Gasline Ridge.
