MacLea 1965 Pleurolis dominica not severely depressed. 26 June Bird flushes just off Pitelka's Plot gave good distraction display - almost undoubtedly off a rest. Could not get back far enough in lousy visibility to allow her to get back on the eggs. 27 June Flock of 6 plus black-bellied plover in ANCS marsh. 29 June Now ca. 11, associating closely in flight but dispersing while feeding. Many birds in Central Marsh - non-breeders. 2 July Found nest w/ 4 eggs ca. 250 m W. of micro-met on raised polygon. ANCS flock now numbers 23, sitting quietly over area of <50 ft. radius. ANCS birds are gone. DeBenedictis reports very large flock in SW corner of Central Marsh. 4 July Found nest w/ 4 eggs by NE corner of Pitelka's Plot. 5 July Nest w/ 4 eggs ca. 125 m. E. of CRPFL warigan. 6 July Flock of 25 flying erratically over ANCS + Micro-met marsh. Very close association in flight. Dispersed while feeding, but remained within ca. 1/2 acre,
