Saw 3 birds feeding actively
on Beech Ridge, so. of F.a.d.. Later
saw 2 birds together near the same
area. One of these was a ♂. Twice
the birds were flushed - once by me,
once by a caterpillar tractor. Both
times the ♂ followed the other
(presumed ♀) and gave ground display
upon landing - tail cocked, forward
posture, wings partially extended - buzzing
note. No visible response from other bird,
and displaer resumed feeding.
