MacLean 1966 Calorís fusicollis 8 June One bird with group of red-backs in Britton's Area. 10 June Two birds - 1♂, other probably ♀ - by Elson Lagoon, S. of Brant Points. ♂ poing-zee's once, and gave good (but brief) ground display. Both birds feeding in wet, marshy tundra. Good view of one consistently probing. 11 June Two birds in active chase over beach ridge at road crossing. One gave short song. 't hour later - another chase at same spot. Afternoon - same spot - one bird feeding on wet exposed spot at edge of Central Marsh. Flew up over ridge and sang. Note: separate feeding and display areas, spatially distinct. 13 June Bird displayed from approximately same spot on Beach Ridge 1 July Hidro a ♂ at South end of P's plot.
