(#314) ♀ - Heavy molt - fall plumage
2/3 complete. Other took off for
rest county.
31 July 2 birds seen on Pitelka's Plot,
each feeding alone. No sign of
interaction between two - ca. 100yds.
apart.
3 August 2 birds seen in diligent search
of interior - both (together) near
S. end of Hkraovik, One collected
(#322) - ♀ with old brown patches -
mild molt. Must have had young-
molt delayed. Beautiful.
9 August Immature seen near stake 10 of
Plot, Dispatched - ##326.
10 August Low Polygon area W. of Upper
Measow lake - mixed shorebird group
feeding in drying pans included 3 white-
rumps, + 5 rear backs, 2 semi-pales, 2 white-
rumps collected - #322+333, both imm.
As. ♀ - heavy molt, taken from
edge of Voth Slough - #334.
11 August Low Polygon area W. of Upper
Measow lake - white-rump flying
with semi-pal. collected - #342 :imm.
