Maclean 1964 C. fuscolllis 28 June Nest - 4 eggs - ca 100 yds N. of CIRREL but at corner of beach ridge. Ca. 3 o7oT, 2FF chasing around sloping marsh. 4 from nest given grounds display when off. Otherwise ignores others. 29 June 4 birds - possible flock - a N. site of mouth of Voth creek into Middle Salt Lagoon. 1 July Flock of 6 seen (6:00 P.M.) below (w) Beach Ridge. Very active - chasing. 2 July Flock of 6 - same region. Same? 3 July Nest (#14) w/ 4 eggs - S. of bend in pipeline (300 yds. S. of Micro-met. All nests checked - none hatching or tipping. 6 July Nest check. nest #12 - below bend in beach ridge - hatchers out. 4 chicks being brooded. No other birds in attendance. Now there are 3 (Maclean 260). No activity in any other nests. Flock of 18 flying actively around slope. Returns in afternoon - flock moves onto low polygonal grounds. 2 turnstones flying with flock. 1 Turnstone and 5 white-rumps collected (Maclean 264, 265, 266, 267, Tenaza-184) - all o7oT; molting. [Tenaza-184: "Fair light, heavy mold"] Flock of 5 on Beach Ridge - very active. Seem to be losing voice. Several have lost
