(Several Pectorals seen.) 11 June Not seen in Drum area. 12 June two displaying ♂♂ on NACS side of beach ridge. 1 covering area ca. 150 x 200 y 200 yards. Between display flights, stays approx. in center. ♂ Pectoral undisturbed in center of territory. 13 June 1 displaying ♂ - E. side of Pow Main. At least 3 ♂♂ in E. Fresh Lake Marsh, displaying. 1 actual fight. 15 June Still common in dry and mesic habitats. None in Drum area. Mostly along beach ridge and gastic ridge. ♂♂ displaying frequently. Occasional birds encountered in uplands E. of gas-line. Not as frequent as W.. 20 June Concentration in area E. of Pow sight, on polygonized and mesic tundra ground. Polygonal area S. (more arless). 200yds from micro nest. ♀ off nest - ♂ approaches- strong ground display. ♀ flew away, back onto nest. 30 sec later - same ♂ gave ground display to another ♀ 40 ft. away. Shot down again. Nest - 4 eggs - marks by stake 6 for NNW. 25 June 3 (presumed) ♂♂ seen on Holmes plot. No others inland.
