A nest found by Custer 3 days ago
in the Drum area with 3 eggs had 2 eggs
yesterday, none today. I suspect weasel
predation.
26 June
Safriel gave me 4 eggs from
deserted nests today: 3 from 1 nest
(6.07, 6.06, 6.07g), and 1 from another
nest (7.3g).
5 July
the first nests are hatching
today (U. Safriel, pers. comm.). Quite late.
