MacLean 1969 C. pusilla 2. 11 June) eggs are about to be laid in Britton's area. 12 June I believe, from the birds' behavior, their eggs have been laid. A couple of birds popped up in such a way as to make me look carefully for a nest, but found none. 14 June Display has just about dropped to cero. Some 87, when flushed, give brief motor-boats, but not much from these, otherwise. 19 June Collected pusilla nest #1 + 2 adults: SM 1055 and 1056. First 3 eggs weigh 7.8, 7.9, 7.4 grams (cannot tell order). 4th egg weighs 7.9 g.. All eggs wrapped in aluminum foil and packed in cotton, then frozen. The adults weighed 28.8 and 29.4q. The nest was found by U. Safriel in the do village cemetery. It has 3 eggs at 2:30 P.M.; 4 eggs at 10:30 P.M., when it was collected. Adults not attentive at that time. The birds were a pair-banded as a pair last year - yellow over pink on the right leg. Found 3 4-egg nests today: 1 in the do cemetery, 1 south of South Salt Lagoon, 1 in the drum area, west of pole 7.4.
