Calioris alba June Saw 4 birds (possibly 2 birds seen twice) amongst flock of turnstones on Britton's Area. Feeding. 6 June 2 birds in Britton's Area. 9 June At least 6 in Britton's Area. Unlike the other Calioris sp. there these showed no interest in displaying or otherwise feeling the effects of the sudden onset of spring - they fed actively in a tighter flock. 10 June At least 12 in Britton's Area. I was struck by the variation in plumage; 1 bird was very bright, others were rather dull. 11 June They are dispersing as turnora opens up to south, along Gaswell Road, but still mostly associated in flocks. Pitella saw a ♂ in nest-cup display on gravel No. of Britton's Area. 13 June Several pairs around F.A.A. and Britton's area etc as if they may be breeding.
