Duval, E.H. 2005 June 4, 2005 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui, Panama Today was busy staking nests. Steve was successful in seeing PFA at A-7 nest that was caught yesterday at the nest. She didn't abandon the nest. Anne and I both tried to see the wel 4 ? but were unsuccessful. My J-1 nest had 2 chicks and I stalked it and saw RW-(g). Emily had a nest there already this year which was RWY's nest. We'll try again tomorrow. Presc Precipitation was 1cm and temp 75F-85F. JYL June 7 The day started with rain until u 10am. Anne did data entry until lunch while Steve & I staked nests. Steve saw RW-g at J-1 but saw RWY in area. After lunch we all stalked again until the rain started. Anne was successful with wel 4 nest &(CAGA-F) I saw YV-(g) down the gully on J-2 rest. We are planning our DAVID trip for tomorrow. JYL June 8 To David for supplies. Bought another Kettle since ours broke. Tried to get Anne & Steve's visas extended but the regulations have changed and it is not possible to do in one day. After talking to EHD we decided to not renew them and will pay any fines if necessary. JYL
