I started a list of dance perches where a turnover has occurred, just from memory. I'm not sure that we have positive status info for all these perches, but what if: a lost B is replaced, but a lost A results in total turnover of the territory-holding pair? Are there times when a B is sufficiently experienced/capable enough to become A, & times when he is not? It's possible that the birds were this active before the North Wind began, but for our purposes, this is the first day of the breeding season. 12 March 2002 We went to David today, sharing a $1.00 taxi with Yadira to the crossroads at Horcancito.
