DuVal, E.H. 2005 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui, Panama' 28 March 2004 - A full day of matches 29 March 2004 - We went to David with Franh to check mail & email, and to restock on food supplies. I found out that I didn't get the NSF IRFP grant, and that Chris Conroy didn't receive my email detailing the curatorial work that I've partially completed and intend to finish this summer. So Chris is, of course, livid, and is having mass emails sent stating that "a grad student recently finished with curatorial hours incomplete", etc. Terific. But there's nothing I can do from here except try to recreate my original dict and go to town next week just to send apologetic email. Maybe Chris will have cooled off by the time I get home in 3.5 months. Janis encouraged me to submit the "display interactions of young males" paper to PRS, so I'll try to get that together for next week as well, just to make the David day less depressing. Julian's talk on the development of coordinated singing went really well, apparently, despite a somewhat amusing introduction by Eileen (accidentally amusing, that is). He has bought a microphone and will be down sometime next month.
