DuVal, E.H. 2005 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui, Panama 24 March 2005 - Overcast all day; hard rain for ~1/2 hour at night (with my boots outdoors). The birds were quite active, especially in the afternoon, though Annie's territories were slow. I saw BW and BWA dance for a female at BRI1 - no sign of BOW) this year. Likewise GAG is missing. YVA seems to have taken over at EDM. WBR and RYY are still together at CCL1, but RYY is spending a lot of time at CCL2 - is WBR losing another f to "budding"? I saw YPB (former TRJ5 f, starter of DPO area) display with an "S" DM (banded in nest) at BRI4. I found a nest with two chicks that were about 9 days old - yikes! Luckily we'll have the annual "Easter Egg Hunt" this Sunday and will hopefully find some of the remaining undiscovered nests then.
