Duval, E.H. 2005 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov, Panama 5 Apr. can't and still. I feel like we've got a pretty good handle on who's where for our main sites, though the actual number of observed interactions with all bands read is diff depressingly low. Now to expand and survey other areas for banded birds / new display territories. 6 April 2004 Today I staked nest 1-3 after bleeding and banding the chicks, and confirmed that the female was WBV (BITE), who has been nesting in the same area (SLN1) since 2000. I also bled the chick in BOV's nest (SLP area, near OCV). There is only one chick left in that nest, and he had lost the Al band that I put on when I first bled them and staked the nest. BOV may have removed the Aluminum bands (and chick) from the nest. As I left the area, I saw DN gww, who I believe has been the B at OCV for the last 2 years. Has he started a new territory? Did "SLP" exist before and just not get observed? We've heard AR lately by the restaurant as well. Hot, sunny day.
