DuVal, EH. 2004 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriguí Prov., Panamá 31 March 2004 There is definitely a new dp being established near CCL1 + LHL: main st. cleared ccx Gully N new X patch AOP (dm) has been seen there Several times with various birds. The day started cool & still + cloudless! Max + Min temperature for the last 3 days has been 26 - 34°C (78-93°F). Julie saw a medium-sized mammal at ED4 that may have been a Grison (field guide ID pending). Nest J-1 at WELY has hatched. I found an unbG building a nest at CCL5 that is at least 8' off the ground, and not at all on a slope - the highest flat-site nest we've found yet! Nest V-A near SNK also has one egg as of yesterday. I went searching for BAG's nest (after seeing her copulate yesterday) and found a complete lot empty are right where she usually builds. How long does it take for ff to lay? This was ~24 hours after copulation. I saw a pair of Roadside Hawks
