Metropolitan Park : We hiked through starting at ~ 4:00pm, enjoying the place & spot-surveying for CTMA's for comparison with November's observations. About 1/2 way up the road from the Canopy Crane to the top of the hill we found one pair of males QRing (for > 8 min) on x off. We walked back into the forest to find them, but never did see them - they seemed to move away as we approached. Agouti + coatis seen. Dinner at El Tapichí, on Via Argentina. 28 February 2002 $15 taxi to Boca Chica & I didn't get a receipt. We saw a jaguarnd; sprint across the road in front of the truck just as we entered town. We took the bus from Panama City to Horconito's then went straight to the island. The rancho, really did slow down. We're all in the mushroom house.
