Isla Boca Brava - WELY display area, about 1 km
from the Eastern tip of the island ; Gulf of Chiriquí;
Chiriquí Province, Republic of Panamá

Individual #178, YAR - definitive adult male plumage
16.0 g, adult skull, left testis 7.0mm x 5.0mm
right testis 5.8mm x 4.5mm^both whitish Stomach mostly empty,
with some purplish-green fruit pulp. Alpha male
on the "WELY" display territory. Collected as
part of alpha male removal experiment. Captured
in a grove of cercropia trees near the display area.
Preserved tissue samples, syrinx, testes, and some
skeletal material.

Individual #067 BYY - definitive adult male plumage
15.0 g, adult skull, fat 0, no molt, cloacal protuberance = 1
Right testis: 3.7mm x 4.0mm - grey
Left testis: 6.7 mm x 4.0mm - white
3 seeds of Davilla kunthii in stomach.
First banded in 1999 (in BM plumage, = 7+ years old); Alpha male
at CCL5 display area in 2003.
Collected tissue (muscle, heart, liver, kidney) as well as
syrinx, rt. testis, and gastrointestinal tract with contents. +skeleton
