Daval, E.H. 2002 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiqui, Panama 21 May, cut in between David and Guabito. Ryan & Julie went back to Boca Brava, and I stayed with Becca in David for the night. We did three hours of email & saw Spiderman before calling it a night. 22 May 2002 I left for Changuinola on the 6am bus, arrived at 10:30, took a taxi to Guabito, had the passport re-stamped 10 minutes later, and was on my way back. I made it to Boca Brava at 8:30pm, after catching the Panama-David bus at the crossroads of the Inter- americano and the Changuinola route; waiting for a lift for 1/2 hours & waiting for a flat to be changed halfway through the Horconcito-Boca Chica leg. 6-year-old Jason befriended me at the Horconcito crossroads (initially thinking I was Megan Haysercy) and gave me mangoes for the road. Moises gave me a cut-rate boat ride ($1.10 because it was all I had, plus a beer tomorrow) to the island. 23 May 2002 Just Julie, Ryan, & I worked today, as Becca's vacation continues until the 25th.
