Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Province, Panama 20 May 2002 011 Chiroxiphia lanceolata adult male, definitive plumage alpha male at ACA display perch in 2002: AYA # 078 Died after held in captivity for 18 hrs. (or removal experiment) wt on 19 May = 16.5g wt at death 15g. Rt testis 5.5x3.7 mm Left testis 6.4x4.0 mm tarsus 19.2 mm; wing chord 72 mm; tail 33.2mm (main), 13.1mm left extension, 14.0mm right extension (central rectrices); fat O; hormone and parasite samples taken when captured 19 May 2002. Eggshell and regurgitated seeds found below nest One horsehair woven into nest - unusual. In a Euphorbiaceae tree (sapling), 145cm high Slope of hillside was 5°
