DuVal, E.H. 1999 Journal Section ID 8 27 June 1999 Site: Isla Beca Brava, First Beach Temp: 81° F Weather: sunny habitat see p. 25 same net #'s, but only 1,2,3,5 open Net hrs: 2¾ nets/4hr 3hrs open 2:15pm - 5:15pm = 8.25 net hours total Notes: Clint "rowing" for the first part of the setting, though he appeared right when I caught three birds at once to help with the untangling. Snake: green mamba? uniformly bright green body black eye stripe lower head more bright blue/green tongue bluish; on ground, climbed trees easily 3-4 feet long. largest head w/ very skinny neck. CTM Saw 3 birds in the cabin area - at least 1 was singing "pip" notes - maybe more? All green phase. Clint reports seeing green-phase birds singing at the "toledos." Saw ~3 other DM or PDM first beach site
