DuVal, EH. 2001 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov. Panama 15 April 2001 Easter! Meghan Hogerty came over from Boca Chica & we all went "Easter egg hunting" - a surprising & resounding flop. Eric found one empty nest, & I found one with eggs at 5pm, long after I had stopped looking. The restaurant staff was overworked & short- handed & grumpy. Things should get better from now on, as the tourists taper off. E-9 appears to have hatched. The ? was sitting on the side of the nest in the normal feeding posture as Meghan & I walked by, & we left her alone. Meghan mentioned doing off-season activity checks for me - I need to work out a standardized protocol for this now to be able to compare known active periods to unknown periods.
