DuVal, E. H. 2001 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov., Panama [23 Mar cat] Al. Al writes for a local Pennsylvania paper, and is doing a conglomerate story on Panama as he sees it while visiting his daughter & son-in- law, who are newly-minted peace corps volunteers. Jamie is quiet & interested. Al is loud, loud, loud, & doesn't entirely get the idea of what we're doing but asks a lot of questions. Even during watches. So my session at CCL1 was pretty much a wash - Al talked throughout, sat conspicuously, & never saw a mankin. Jamie came along on my second watch, too, and things were much better, noise-wise. Boxer continued his new tradition of sniffing us out in the morning and wrecking the watches with his rambling (often through the dance perch). We set 5 nets at TCJ for tomorrow.
