Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov., Panama [17 March cat] shaking my confidence in our collective netting ability (though I'm still fairly sure of myself). As we put up the nets, the unbanded DM we were targeting flew over. Terrible morning. But I did find a second empty nest that looks ready for eggs, and a third near the SBE1-new display perch. I checked E-A and it had one egg! Now it's E-1, the first real nest of the new season. The SBE1 dp seems to have moved across the 2nd bch. path, and AY is still plenty active. His partner now seems to be RWR (DM) no sign of AVP. I wonder where he went? And where was RWR last year? WRR (OM) was also present and displaying - literally because he was a CB last year.
