[17 March cat] shaking my confidence in our collective
netting ability (though I'm still fairly
sure of myself). As we put up the
nets, the unbanded DM we were
targeting flew over. Terrible
morning.
But I did find a second
empty nest that looks ready for
eggs, and a third near the
SBE1-new display perch. I checked
E-A and it had one egg! Now it's E-1,
the first real nest of the new season.
The SBE1 dp seems to have
moved across the 2nd bch. path,
and AY is still plenty active.
His partner now seems to be
RWR (DM) no sign of AVP. I wonder
where he went? And where was
RWR last year? WRR (OM) was
also present and displaying - literally
because he was a CB last year.
Our first DM potential "player" of
known age!
I checked the birds on the
QRing birds an Katie's watch site;
