Activity has definitely dropped off, but "Que Rico" duets can still be heard. It poured after the first observation period & mark & bet went back to the ranchos for ramen. They spent the pre-lunch hour precy [illegible] distances between dance perches. I stayed out in the rain and found a rufous-tailed hummingbird nest with two eggs at first beach. We each did another watch in the afternoon, and then a little net repair. Net repair is turning out (most) to be a very, very big job.
