Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriquí Prov., Panamá 8 June cont for the rest of our time on the island, so that more of the peak season can be devoted to observations next year. Then again, it's useful to document the decline in display perch activity, & the male associations still seem to be stable. We showed Frank the dancing video we have so far, & he was appropriately impressed. Yidkira had already observed it near Bee Trees, before the area was cleared. The video on tape 3 now includes some good footage of Mark singing his "Mayore Adventure" song (in honor of his nests located on the Frank-named "Mayore Adventure Trail") as he skips away down Main Street. It's amazing, given our luck, that Danielle, Javier, & Oldecimo didn't round the corner to see that. Centipedes abound, now that it's really the rainy season, and Frank thinks he saw a tinamou perched in a tree near the restaurant a few days ago. I have been hearing a haunting, quavery whistle that rises in pitch & is repeated ~5 times. It could be
