2 June cont. #151.032. We never did find her nest, but took the opportunity to cut off the transmitter. She was in much better condition than RBV; she still had a trace of fat, weighed over 20g, had no bare spot worn on her back, and only one slight sore, mostly healed, under one leg. Not bad. I could continue telemetry work if they all held up as well. Now BOY was the only transmitter still out there (with dead batteries). I'd like to 'redeploy' 151.071, but the receiver has been dead since the Costa Rica adventure. ABY's battery was very slightly rusty.
We caught 2 birds (in the last 2 days?) who appeared to be young-of-the-year.
