29 May cont. checking out the dancers. She didn't mate, but I guess she's restless. I wonder how many times they'll nest in a season? I wonder when the "season" ends?
Fletchie killed a Peccaryscus in the kitchen. I was unable to ID it to species.
30 May 2000 Rain in the late afternoon, showers during the day
We did three watches each today,
and I tackled the pile of observation sheets that I've been avoiding.
In the morning we saw an alligator from our ranchos as we drank our morning coffee. He swam out near the buoy close to shore then turned east toward the port. I hadn't realized that there were alligators here...
