Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov., Panama 27 May cat. the morning tracking ABY. There has been no signal from BOY. I worked on ABY in the afternoon, following her from bee tree to second landing, back again, & back again. She led me to one nest, (w/1 eggs), though it probably wasn't hers. I think she would have chicks by now... I intended to track her at night, but this night has dragged horrendously. Packing has taken a while, since all the research equipment had to be put away. We did one watch each (& Kat did 2), & stabbed nests. E-13 is indeed the nest of PWY, who we banded there yesterday. (today) May 2000 Rain starting at 3pm Today was our first day back from the Costa Rican "vacation" that took us to San Vito, the Wilson Garden & La Amistad. Markin -relevant parts were a brief conversation w/ Luis Diego Gomez about a lance-/lag-tailed potential hybrid zone, and the observation that lance-tailed manakins are present in La Amistad, if not in the quantities found
