DuVal, E.H. 2000 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov., Panama 5/11/00 K-5 active 3 never started 13 pending 23 failed M-3 active 11 fledged 3 pending = 26 unsucc., 11 successful E-4 active 8 [illegible] pending = 36 possible success/nests Weather: min of rain at night. Overcast to partly cloudy, slight wind. So the totals above are the numbers of successful and possibly successful nests that are presently known. Just under 1/3 of those with e ggs at some point have succeeded thus far. I found another egg-less nest at first beach today. Are we catching them before they have a chance to lay, have they already been depredated, or did they grow and fledge without us? I suspect the middle option. We netted at Well today, again, and caught another 2 unBDM's (plus 2 previously banded.) I was getting snappish simply because I'm worried about not being able to get everything done before the end
