DuVal, E.H. 2000 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov., Panama found that it consisted of 3 spiders of various sizes. I preserved the largest in Ethanol (and accidentally dropped the other two). Could they be feeding spiders to their babies ??? How interesting. We saw females flying + fighting in the spiny palms near Bee Tree yesterday. Perhaps they were squabbling over spiders and not nesting material (as I'd thought at the time). We're taking the day off tomorrow, but hiking with Danielle to parts of the island as yet unknown.
