Journal 4 April 2000 Weather: raining until 7:30 am, then clearing until ~6:30pm. Rain again at night. Our ranchos both leak, and Kat and I slept in soggy beds. We netted at Bee Tree, surrounding nest E-3 with nets and capturing an unbanded female with a BP going toward the nest. She is WRW now, and we'll confirm that this is E-3's baby in the next few days. We moved the nets to 2nd beach (2) (adjoining CC(3)) for tomorrow and spent the afternoon working on a release cage for the telemetry birds. 4 sides are 1/2" chicken wire, one is of flattened bamboo lashed to the wire with thread, and one is still open.
