Journal 4 April 2000 Weather: raining until 7:30 am, then clearing until ~6:30pm. Rain again at night. Our ranchos both leak, and Kat and I slept in soggy beds. We netted at Bee Tree, surrounding nest E-3 with nets and capturing an unbanded female with a BP going toward the nest. She is WRW now, and we'll confirm that this is E-3's baby in the next few days. We moved the nets to 2nd beach (2) (adjoining CC(3)) for tomorrow and spent the afternoon working on a release cage for the telemetry birds. 4 sides are 1/2" chicken wire, one is of flattened bamboo lashed to the wire with thread, and one is still open. I'm considering covering it with cloth, but Kat or Mark object for reasons they can't think of. I finished banding NOB, the baby in nest E-4. His
