I was observing a lek in the afternoon, toward the bottom of the hill, & looked up to notice a nest about 2 feet from my face. It's small, suspended from the horizontal fork of a sapling about 2 feet off the ground. There was 1 egg, white with brown speckling. I saw an unbanded female nearby, but not on the nest. I took photos on the first roll of print film. This is nest "E-1."
