Duval, E.H. 2000 16 March 2008 Journal Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov. Panama immediately (on our somewhat melted ice packs). The second was chilled after 2 hours. The third was never chilled. All were spun down 4h. after the blood was taken from the bird, and samples 1 & 2 were frozen immediately after the plasma was extracted. The third will be frozen after 6½ hours. I want to compare the degradation of Testosterone with time to estimate how my samples will be affected by the poor refrigeration available. Saw a variegated squirrel near the 2nd beach. The howler troupe has many babies - at least 4-5 of them in the tree outside our huts last night.
