Dulal, E.H. 2000 Journal 16 March 2000 Isla Boca Brava, Chiriqui Prov., Panama March 2000 We netted this morning at the bridge site until 10:15 or so, and then moved to the second beach site. We set nets after lunch and waited until 2:30 to open them. Tallies for the day! Bridge N R DM 11 CB 11 BF 11 RC 1 1 G/Tawny II/II II/II 11 2nd Beach III 1 11 in all: 5 DM's, 5 [illegible] other male phases, and 9 females (or green phases). The recaptures (3 ?, 1 RC) were all banded in 1999. One was ? # 74, formerly banded VRV. We changed the bands to ARV because 2 birds were marked VRV last year. One mistake fixed... At the second beach site, we captured two white-tipped doves. Frome one of these, I took a large # of tubes of blood. I split these into three treatment, of 5-6 tubes each (approx. equal colored) volume). One set of tubes was frozen
