August 31 San Acacia, New Mexico We have made to San Acacia, for some reason I do not remember. I also took an albino quail dog food feeding field on the east side of the field. About twelve or thirteen jays and two turkey vultures were there. I did not take a photo of them as they were too far away to focus on and photograph all at once. I also took a photo of an owl in flight above the field, but it was too fast to focus on and the photo is very blurry. The owl was clearly visible but I could not get a good photo of it. Also saw several road animals: two coyotes and three jackrabbits. One of the coyotes was dead and had been hit by a car. We later buried it. Finally got some good photos of animals for a book on wildlife in New Mexico. August 31 San Acacia, New Mexico I took a photo of a coyote running across the road.
