"B. Richardson 934 Toad July 5 Sequoia Park Headquarters Yuba Co., California. The specimen was found running himself on a log in a very moist meadow. The grass was about a foot high and quite dense. When disturbed this Toad sought shelter under a log in the mud. July 17 Quaking Aspen Meadow, 7500 ft. Yuba Co., California. One specimen found last evening crawling under a gooseberry bush near the meadow. July 24 A specimen found last evening on a rock in the meadow.
