B. Richardson 934 Bemnotus tallau slope. There was no timber within a mile of this location and the only vegetation was the small alpine- artic plants that exist at high altitudes. They sought refuges under a slab of granite th & all the while was clinging to th & shoulders with his mouth. July 6 Tuely River, 5 mi E Porterville. Tulors Co California. The specimen was found along the river in a brush gatel Moist shady conditions prevailed. July 14 Quaking Aspen Meadow, 7500 ft. Inlors Co. California A specimen found in th bith of a fir tree The scaling back of a large fir log was used for shelter.
