Mus musculus Jan. 14 Canyon Cr. 7mi & Orovi, 700 ft. Tulare Co., Cal. Caught one of this species this morning. Parad area - Sierra Foothill. Elev - zone - Upper Saguaro. Habitat - The locality where this specimen was obtained was th thick brushy grassy and flowly area bounded by rocks. It was from the upper edge of a side hill spring were the rocks were over grown with wild grape vine and the grass and weeds of the area was thicker than in non spring areas. Jan. 15 Found another individual today from the trap set in the barn. It was caught in among the hay bail where previously Pteronymus monoculus had been taken.
