B. Richardson 934 Microtus mordax sierra May 31 Upper Funston Meadow, Kern Canyon Tulare Co., California 6860 ft. This individual caught in the meadow 2mi above camp. The traps were set at the side of log in the relatively dry part of the meadow. The principal thief about the meadow was Rocky Pile Pine. June 5 Junction Meadow, Kern Canyon Tulare Co., California 8100 ft. One specimen trapped in the meadow under a log. Previous runways and gurrows have been noticed about the meadow especially under moist cotton logs. Jun 14. Head of Big Arroyo 10300 ft. Tulare Co., California This specimen was caught at a stream side willow thicket. It was one of three caught in the traps this morning.
