This animal caught in the traps this morning. Faunal area - Sierra foothill. Life zone - Upper Sonoran. Habitat - In the thick grassy area which was in each case close to rock borders. The area was well drained. July 10 Parker Meadow 6400 ft Tulare Co. Calif. One individual caught. Faunal area - Sierra Nevada Life zone - Canadian (low) Habitat - This individual was caught along the stream below the meadow. He was a thicket of shrubby calagans, nettles and green grass and it was in this thicket that the catch was made. July 24 Wilson Cr, 3 1/2 mi SW Nelson, 5600 ft Tulare Co. Calif.
