Shot one individual last evening.
Faunal area - Sierra Nevada.
Alt-zone-Transition.
Habitat.- A high slope, open
slopes about the tall
firs and pines. They seldom
come into gun shot but when
they do they are easy victims.
Fur is one of the earliest
to seen.
July 12 6 1/2 mi. WNW Porterville, 380 ft. Tolaro Co. Calif.
Caught one individual last evening at Donald J. Tappie's
farm.
Faunal area - San Joaquin Valley
Alt-zone- Lower Sonoran.
Habitat.- Taken from day
time roost under the west
facing euttes of a large
barn. This individual was
found associating with the
Mexican Free-tailed Bat.
