Wm B Richardson 1936 Episicus fasciatus S M B Richardson 1934 Mexican Free-tailed Bat July 6 Tule River, 5 mi E Porterville Tulare Co California Four young were taken from a colony of these bats found inside the North bridge. I have noticed these bats in this same place 5 years later, it evidently is a well established colony. The adults flew into the daylight when disturbed and did a good deal of circling about. I did not notice any of them return.
