W.M.B. Richardson 1936 Eptesicus fuscus W.B. Richardson 34 Large Brown Bat by 23 Quaking Aspen Meadow, 7500 ft. Tulare Co., California. Specimens shot at Brown Meadow. These bat appear just after the sun leaves the mountain and continue flying for about an hour then they seem to disappear. The animals feed 25 but a more off the ground along the side of the fir trees. They seem to prefer those firs which are near the meadow. by 25 Another specimen taken in same locality and same habitat as that shot above.
