Pelecanus occidentalis, flock observed feeding off Pelican Point, when tide was coming in; May 20.
Nycticorax nycticorax, one flying overhead northwardly, May 19.
Branta nigricans, a lone individual off Sand Point on May 21.
Cathartes aura, several seen at short distance inland from Dillon Beach.
Lophortyx Californica, along Andrew Creek.
Iaruis occidentalis, Common br mud flats and beach.
(No other species of Iarus noted; Reermannii definitely absent; there may have been immatures, a few only, of californicus).
Selasphorus allenii, in the village.
Sayornis nigricans, several pairs in the village
Stilgidoptyx serrigena, a pair along Andrew Creek.
Sturnus erythrogaster, one pair in the village.
Aetheloidon albifrons, small colony on rocks at short distance inland from village; more in the village, as in 1943.
Apilocoma coerulescens, a family(?) present along Andrew Creek, inland from village.
Corvus corax, several seen along beach.
Centhestes rufescens, one seen in eucalyptus grove along Andrew Creek, near barns, in the village.
Turdus migratorius, one or two pairs in the village, apparently breeding.
Hylachites uskklata, at least one pair in the village.
