1973 Pipilo fuscus 3( May Berkeley (Hilgard Ave) ♀ 1st-year: Eia to 2 mm. Oviduct enlarging, 43.5 gm (G-2 mm. diameter); some feathers dropped from broad patch area. Member meted pair. 1974 Sept 22 Berkeley Hills Two pairs to south of "Ogden," at its south edge, involving territorial conflict. Pairs qone thru strong reinforced displays repeatedly, with one pair to south (pair A) closhing against one pair to north. Then was pair re-assignment: then the dash. North pair moves anti road on more brief clash at logging by one of the south pairs; North pair moving across road slowly, giving one pair in reinforced note. South pair moved south. Clear a boundary conflict two Oct 6 (Hilgard Ave - Pairson) strong territorial encounter to west of house. Pair on north side J street displays, a second pair called to move out across the street. As on the earlier situation, only one member of the north pair came across: Pair in reinforced display (begun)
