Pipilo fuscus
31 July Berkeley
Pairs with fledglings from NE (male
breed?) bring yng over Aragon project,
and onto ours. One of them full-grown juveniles feeds alone in our
yard. Pairs hunt occasionally,
with a 2nd fledgling.
10 Aug.
Single juvenile seen in yard
intermittently in past week. It's
large, probably M. Today, two
(a pair?) 2 juveniles are in the
yard. One (the larger) supports
a very sparse adult that feeds
on lawn following watering. Later,
there is a flurry chase of a Henbane
from the SW (across Queen Rd).
12 Aug.
"Pair" apparently settled in
yard; feeding together.
