1968 Pipilo fuscus 1 April Berkeley, Calif. ♀ 1st: Ova to 1 mm. No fat 52.9. y rectrices lost-y; also GSC, manures, more rounded, edged with fluff 31 Mch ♂ Ova to 10, 9, 4 mm. Very light fat 61.3 ad. B area mostly cleared down feathers, follicles clean. Both ♀♀ taken in same trap at home. ad.♂ taken ca 6 p.m. Sunday; the 1st-y♀ was taken at 8 a.m. The following morning, a second bird present each time. 7 April ♀ 8:45 Ova to 1 mm. No fat 49.1 ad. a.m. No cleaning of B area, second bird present. ♂ 11a.m. T 13mm; cloacal glands large 54.6 ad. No fat ♀ Ova to 1 mm. No fat 51.8 1st-y rectrices & remiges 9 April ♂ T 9mm No fat 50.3 1st-y rectrices & inner remiges A second bird present in area on lower side of house & in rear garden, assumed by former pair.
